There are many different types of candles these days, wax scented candles, pillar candles, votive candles, soy candles, Candle warmers and many more. People LOVE candles, it can be an addiction, some people even make their own candles.

There are 2 main types of candles: Glass Jar Candles that have a burning wick that melts the wax and releases a scent, and Candle Warmers which are basically an electric candle warmer that melts a wax tart with heat. A good example of a Candle warmer is the new scentsy candles that have taken the candle market by storm.

Being the candle lover that I am, I am going to review the 2 main types of candles and give my opinion of the best place to get that type of candle.

Candles

Some people prefer good old jar candles with a burning wick, mostly for the flickering light effect that can be very relaxing, and romantic.

I love candles! I have not found a brand that I do not love, and cannot get enough great smelling waxy candles. My mother in law told me there is this great new candle called a soy candle that she adores. I had never heard of soy candles before, and my mother in law said they are all the rare. I bought a Soy candle for myself and was stunned, these are great candles! Soy candles are supposed to be a safe alternative because they have no nasty chemicals, definitely my choice if you are going with a wicked candle.

Candle Warmers

Some people prefer the new candle warmers that have been coming out mainly for their safety, for example with the new Scentsy candles there is no wick, no flame, and no chemicals being burnt in to the air.

I am a big lover of candles, and have been for most of my life. However, the type of candles that I use has changed over the past several years. At one time I would buy candles that had a flame, which would melt the wax, and put the scent into the air. This is a traditional candle which many people no longer use. The reason these candles are no longer used is that they are not safe. They can cause a fire and can also cause people to breathe in unhealthy chemicals. The better option is to use scentsy candles, because these candles are safe and omit no chemicals into the air.

Some of the most amazing candles on the market are Scentsy candles. These are so great because they are safe to use anywhere. You can plug one of these in in a child's room and know that there is no danger of a fire or a bad burn. You can plug one in an outlet in a bathroom and know that there won't be a problem when people go in and out. Scentsy products are just terrific and they mimic regular candles so closely that unless people see the electrical cord they often would not know they are not a traditional candle. A Scentsy candle is a wonderful, safe candle option.

Personally, when I buy candles, I buy them online, mainly because I like to keep it simple and just shop online for a couple minutes and have them delivered to my door a few days later.
